Assisted Living Caregiver

Caregiver Employment Opportunities:

• Wage range: $13 - $20 per hour (commensurate with experience)
• Full and Part-time positions available
• 12-hour shift schedules
• Typical schedule is 2-2-3
• Hiring for day or night shift position

Typical Responsibilities:

• Provide personal assistance with activities of daily living to an assigned group of senior residents living in our Assisted Living and Memory Care community
• Encourage socialization and inspire participation in community activities while ensuring resident safety and well-being
• Provide hands-on support and assistance with mobility and incontinence care as needed
• Contribute to developing service plans and document care and services as provided daily
• Ensure care, safety, and cleanliness standards are met according to regulatory compliance

Skills Required:

• Being flexible and adaptable to different schedules, tasks, and changing resident care needs
• Proficient in verbal and written English with strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to observe, identify, and promptly report changes in condition to the appropriate personnel
• Ability to follow detailed instructions while working as part of a team

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• CPR certification preferred
• CNA certification preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug test
• Ability to commute to our campus in Las Cruces, NM
