In this role, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our databases. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases, a strong understanding of database management, and excellent problem-solving abilities. The role: Database Administrator
Location: Onsite in Doral, FL
Offer: up to $200k yr. (depending on experience) benefits package
Qualifications:
- Active security clearance is a must
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a Database Administrator role or a related database management position.
- Strong knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis is a plus.
- Proficiency in database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with database clustering, replication, and high availability configurations.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery tools and strategies for both RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
- Scripting skills for automation (e.g., Python, Shell, PowerShell).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, or similar) are a plus.
