Role : Security Engineer
Location : Washington, DC / Chantilly, VA
Work model : HYBRID - Fulltime (1-2 days in the office)
Salary : $100,000 - $200,000
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE
Must haves :
- Ensure network security for the customer's LAN environment, remote access, site-to-site VPNs, wireless networks, and TIC, while also supporting the WAN, including upgrades, patches, and other maintenance tasks.
- Manage, monitor, and implement security solutions such as physical and cloud-based firewalls, proxies, VPN concentrators, and related network protection technologies.
- Oversee and maintain the Cisco ISE environment for identity management.
- Develop, enforce, and sustain network operating rules, objects, and traffic flows across the customer’s infrastructure, utilizing Fortigate to secure and monitor firewalls.
- Conduct critical analysis of network infrastructure to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and reduced security risks.
- Implement, configure, operate, maintain, and replace internal Proofpoint Mail Servers as needed.
