We take pride in our committed team and are seeking a Back-up Class A CDL Driver to help us deliver goods efficiently to our valued customers. The ideal candidate will hold a valid CDL Class A license, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and possess excellent organizational skills. Forklift experience is required.
- Shift Availability: Available every Friday night; flexibility to cover additional nights as needed.
- Shift Hours: 4:30pm – 3:30am
- Pay Rate: $275.00/Night
CDL Class A Driver:
- Two Years' Line Haul Driver CDL- Class A experience is required!
- CDL (Commercial Driver's License): To be CDL driver, you'll need a valid CDL Class A license and must be able to safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including trucks and vans, in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Responsibilities: CDL A drivers are responsible for transporting goods or materials from one location to another. This could involve making deliveries to customers, transferring inventory between warehouses, or hauling goods to distribution centers.
- Skills: You should have a good driving record, strong navigation skills, and the ability to operate a range of commercial vehicles safely. Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations is also important.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Must possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class A)
- Must have 2 years previous tractor trailer driving experience.
- Must have the ability to read, write and understand English, and perform simple mathematical calculations with mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, road signs, maintain logs, etc.
- Must have the ability to properly operate a handheld device when required.
- Must have working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.
- Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance, and extended periods of time.
- Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the US Department of Transportation.
- Must have previous forklift experience.
