- Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Days: Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays
Job Description
As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining the operational flow of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include sorting, organizing, and preparing shipments for distribution. With your keen attention to detail and efficiency, you’ll help ensure that customer demands are met promptly and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate deliveries with clients via phone and email.
- Receive and verify incoming shipments.
- Sort and organize items by size, weight, and destination.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, safely.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging and labeling.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Wrap pallets for shipment.
- Contribute to warehouse cleanliness and organization.
Qualifications
- Clerical experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (required).
- Previous customer service experience (required).
- Must be comfortable working in an environment without climate control.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- A collaborative team player with strong communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Must be able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
