About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will provide expert care to patients with a range of respiratory conditions, from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) to acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
- Conducting thorough patient assessments, including vital sign checks and laboratory tests.
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, including bronchodilators and corticosteroids.
- Maintaining accurate records of patient care, including medication administration and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Current certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Valid state licensure.
