About the Role
As a registered nurse in our Progressive Care Unit and Telemetry department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care. Your expertise and dedication will enable us to deliver exceptional outcomes for our patients.
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs
- Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plan of care for patients assigned
- Initiate assessment based on patient's problems or needs, physician's medical diagnosis, and functional health framework
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing therapeutic nursing interventions
- Managing care of patients
- Documenting care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities
- Advocating for evidence-based practice care standards and supporting adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must possess a strong background in Med-Surg nursing, with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience. Tele competency documentation is also required, and you must be willing to complete a telemetry competency course if necessary. We value candidates with Epic experience, tele, stroke, cardiac drips, and COVID experience.
