Job Summary: As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will function as a caregiver for a specific patient population, expanding your knowledge and skills while providing effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and oversee the care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination.
Effectively coordinate patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians, and support services.
Expand your knowledge and skills to achieve desired outcomes for patients.
Qualifications:
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License
- AHA BLS/CPR certification within 60 days of hire
- BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three years of hire
- At least six months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program
