Responsibilties
A day in the life of an Environmental Aide Team Lead at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:
- Monitors that staff sign both manually and electronically into the logs at appropriate times. Monitors and observes staff performance on tasks and reports results to management.
- Liaison between Hospitality and department floors. Constantly maintains contact with the Call center to resolve urgent issues in areas around the facility (pager & phone). Follows up with appropriate department and Hospitality management to ensure satisfied completion.
- Must maintain the log for at least one of the following: projects, supplies, and OR Terminal Cleaning.
- May perform a variety of housekeeping tasks: Including confidentials emptying and trash; Sweeping, Mopping; Changing curtains, Discharge Cleaning
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
- Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs or related work experience.
- Previous housekeeping experience in a commercial or hospital environment.
- Knowledge of housekeeping floor care and assorted cleaning equipment.
