The Issue Clerk prepares linen for distribution throughout the Medical Center.
Responsibilities
- Folds linen and stocks exchange and PAR linen carts.
- Inspects the quality of linen continuously for stains, and tears.
- Inspects all linen trucks and carts to assure they meet established standards.
- Answers phone and assist caller.
- Prepares linen as requested via phone orders and dispatches a laundry worker for delivery.
- Assists in cleaning of work areas, sweeping, and dusting.
- Adheres to the standards identified in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies.
