We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at East Mountain Youth Lodge as a Night Shift Team Lead.
About the Role
In this role, you will oversee medical management, including medication administration and documentation, and collaborate with the shift leader to establish a safe environment and provide personal supervision of residents. You will also facilitate groups and contribute to day-to-day functioning of the milieu.
- Responsibilities:
- Oversee medication administration, ordering, and documentation.
- Collaborate with the shift leader to establish a safe environment and provide personal supervision of residents.
- Facilitate groups and contribute to day-to-day functioning of the milieu.
- Maintain accurate records and documents, including progress notes and lab results.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Minimum one year of adolescent psychiatric experience.
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification or completed within the first 90 days of employment.
- First Aid Program or completed within the first 90 days of employment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
