Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a High School diploma or equivalent, two years of experience as a Radiology Technician, and graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology program. Additionally, you must hold NJ Diagnostic Radiology licensure, ARRT, and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing assistance to physicians, radiology technicians, and registered nurses in performing more complex procedures.
- Coordinating the daily activities within the Interventional Radiology Department.
- Preparing and maintaining a sterile environment by using aseptic techniques, drapes, equipment, and solutions while assisting the interventional radiologist.
- Positioning the patient on the examining table and setting up and adjusting equipment to obtain optimum view of specific body area as requested by the physician.
- Explain procedures to the patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation.
- Under the direction of a Radiologist or Vascular Surgeon, performs all Interventional procedures on all patient populations.
