We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for obtaining diagnostic radiographic examinations and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtaining diagnostic radiographic examinations at a technical level, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Identifying patients prior to exams using two identifiers, ensuring accurate and efficient care.
- Providing explanations and reducing anxieties to gain patient cooperation.
- Performing portable x-ray examinations in various settings, minimizing radiation exposure for patients.
- Accepting assignments from the Medical Imaging Coordinator and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- NJ Diagnostic Radiology licensure, ARRT certification, and BLS certification are mandatory.
- A minimum of two years of experience as a Radiology Technician is preferred.
