Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a womens imaging center, and an ICU.
Responsibilities
The Mammography Tech is responsible for assisting in the delivery ofpersonalized, professional and quality patient care, internal and externalcustomer service, performance of all diagnostic x-ray examinations,transportation of patients to and from Imaging Services, preparation of alldepartmental paperwork, answering the department’s telephone, scheduling ofpatients, entering and retrieving patient information from the PictureArchiving Communication System (PACS) and Hospital Information System (HIS),and maintaining the work area in a clean and organized manner.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
1 years’ of experience performing Mammograms.
Registered by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and certified in Mammography.
Licensed by the State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Bureau of X-ray Compliance.
