Responsibilities The Mammography Tech is responsible forassisting in the delivery of personalized, professional, andquality patient care, internal and external customer service,performance of all diagnostic x-ray examinations, transportation ofpatients to and from Imaging Services, preparation of alldepartmental paperwork, answering the department's telephone,scheduling of patients, entering and retrieving patient informationfrom the Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) and HospitalInformation System (HIS), and maintaining the work area in a cleanand organized manner. Qualifications Graduate of an accreditedschool of Radiologic Technology. 1 years' of experience performingMammograms. Registered by ARRT (American Registry of RadiologicTechnologists) and certified in Mammography. Licensed by the Stateof New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Bureau ofX-ray Compliance. Basic Life Support (BLS)Certification
