Get to Know Your Team : HackensackMeridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service,acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, astate-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and anICU. Responsibilities Physical Therapists provide services thathelp restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and preventor limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering frominjuries or disease. They restore, maintain, and promote overallfitness and health. Their patients include anyone who suffers fromphysical limitation. Therapists examine patients' medical historiesand then test and measure the patients' strength, range of motion,balance and coordination, posture, muscle performance, respiration,and motor function. They develop appropriate treatment plans tohelp patients achieve their goals. Qualifications Job Requirements : Bachelor's Degree required 1 years' experience (this requirementwill be waived with a strong recommendation from an acute care oroutpatient clinical affiliation) Current valid NJ State PhysicalTherapy License. Maintains American Heart Association Basic LifeSupport HCP Certification. Preferred Job Requirements : Master'sdegree or PhD in Physical Therapy 2 years' experience preferred.Experience with electronic health records a plus
