Get to Know Your Team : HackensackMeridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service,acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, astate-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and anICU. Responsibilities To evaluate and diagnose speech, language,communication, and swallowing difficulties. Develop and implementeffective treatment plans and provide counseling to patients andtheir families. Establish patient expectations understanding andgoals of care. Create accurate documentation and reporting, as wellas delegation of duties, as appropriate to support personnel.Maintain communication with staff and outside agencies as per stateguidelines. Refer patients to other specialists as appropriate.Qualifications Job Requirements : Master's Degree in Speech andLanguage Pathology. 1 year experience. Licensed in the State of NewJersey as a Speech and Language Pathologist. Certification by theAmerican Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Basic Life Support(BLS) Certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) or theAmerican Red Cross (ARC) Preferred Job Requirements : 2 yearsexperience. Experience with Electronic Health Records aplus
