The Associate Dean of Medical Education supports and partners with the Vice Dean of Academic Affairs (Vice Dean) in the oversight and administration of the undergraduate medical education program at the School of Medicine (SOM). The Associate Dean partners with the Vice Dean and others at the SOM to develop and implement innovative programs within the curriculum that move the SOM towards its vision and goals. The Associate Dean's primary area of responsibility is the Clinical Skills longitudinal program, and is responsible for curriculum management and oversight of program implementation, outcomes assessment, use of appropriate pedagogies, and faculty development. Additionally, the Associate Dean is responsible for oversight of integration of Clinical Skills with other curricular phases as well as overall longitudinal integration throughout the curriculum. The Associate Dean also conducts special projects as assigned by the Vice Dean or Dean of the SOM.

Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Ph.D, M.D, or D.O.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Expert knowledge of undergraduate medical education, including curriculum building/revision, use of various pedagogies, curriculum management, outcomes assessment, faculty development and management
- Experience with accreditation, including LCME, MSCHE, state and local agencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Google Suite platforms.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- Experience working at a School of Medicine
