Description : Mathematics Teacher - High School
Job Summary :
- Implement the curriculum as aligned to New Jersey Student Learning Standards;
- Prepare and implement lessons that provide meaningful learning experiences for students;
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse student learners;
- Exercise open and respectful communication with families, co-workers, supervisors, and other school staff;
- Measure progress and accomplishments of students towards their academic achievements on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required;
- Attend professional development sessions in order to further advance professional practice;
- Provide a safe, thriving, and respectful environment for all students in the classroom and on the school campus;
- Differentiate academic instruction for students at varying levels of attainment to maximize student potential;
- Create a stimulating, aesthetically welcoming, organized, functional, healthy, and safe classroom;
- Utilize technology effectively in lessons, including gathering and managing student data;
- Perform non-instructional duties with timeliness and accuracy;
- Continue to grow professionally through collaboration with colleagues and professional growth experiences;
- Maintain a reflective teaching practice.
Qualifications :
Middle School teaching experience preferred.
