Dental Administrative Assistant

Hackley Community Care (HCC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center located along the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan in Muskegon, MI. HCC offers medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services to the residents of Muskegon County.
HCC is seeking a Dental Administrative Assistant. This person will be responsible for assisting in administrative duties including but not limited to insurance verification, scheduling patients for dental procedures, requesting patient Protected Health Information from outside providers, and prior authorizations. In addition, this individual is responsible for coordination of maintenance and purchase of dental equipment and supplies, collaborating with dental staff and the Finance Department to ensure confirmation of shipments, submission of purchase orders, and management of grant purchases.

Job Qualifications:
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Work experience as a clerical receptionist, dental insurance/treatment coordinator or similar role preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in dental practice management software preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of insurance billing codes and dental procedures preferred but not required.
