Hadar seeks a Chief Operating Officer to join the organization’s Senior Leadership. Following the launch of Hadar’s newest Strategic Plan, we are excited to welcome a COO onto our team to help actualize much of what we’ve mapped out over the next 4 years. The COO will ensure the fiscal and administrative integrity of the organization as the budget and staff headcount both grow, align the organization’s information systems and technology with projected growth, and oversee the organization’s new facility. The COO will lead a team and report directly to the President and CEO. This is a full-time position based in New York City.
Responsibilities :
- Provide strategic leadership to changes in operating models (e.g., growth plans, additional services, resource allocation, space usage, etc.).
- Oversee annual budget process and provide financial supervision throughout the fiscal year including financial reporting.
- Build and implement plans and processes to efficiently manage office operations in coordination with program schedules and events.
- Develop and implement a technology strategy that aligns with the organization’s growth plans and strategic goals ensuring full optimization of existing platforms and technologies and / or recommending changes.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovations to enhance operational efficiency and program delivery.
- Lead the annual audit process.
- Manage organizational risk through ensuring legal compliance and appropriate insurance.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, including negotiating contracts and ensuring service-level agreements are met.
- Oversee HR portfolio including high-level approach to hiring, offboarding, policy development, payroll, and benefits among others.
- Oversee all aspects of property maintenance.
- Manage new organizational priorities as they arise.

Salary :
The salary range for this position is from $190,000 - $200,000.
