Hadco Metal Trading Co. LLC distributes and supplies metal products including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, related alloys, and mechanical plastics. 

Hadco facilities are located strategically in New York, Philadelphia, Connecticut, Florida, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Georgia, Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, and California with transfer stations located throughout the East, Midwest and West. 

Position Summary:

We are hiring an Accountant to join our accounting team in our US Corporate Headquarters Bensalem, PA. 

Role & Responsibilities: 

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are accurately recorded in our ERP system.
• Maintain accounts receivable, accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
• Assist with reviewing expenses and payroll records.
• Update financial data to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
• Work closely with the controller, and other departments to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
• Prepare and submit sales tax filings under supervision.
• Assist with other accounting projects.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:  

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.  
• 1-2 years’ experience in a professional accounting role preferably in manufacturing or supply chain. 
• Knowledge in Inventory and purchasing a plus. 
• Knowledge of sales tax and other regulatory requirements (such as property tax filings, corporate filings, etc.) a plus..
• Proficient in Excel and ERP systems.
