Hadco Metal Trading Co. LLC distributes and supplies metal products including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, related alloys, and engineering grade plastics. We provide plates, sheets, and extensive offerings of long products for general engineering, aerospace, and commercial markets. Our range of precision cutting equipment includes CNC machines-routers, waterjets, band saws, plate saws, and shears.
Hadco facilities are located throughout the East, Midwest and West coasts allowing a nationwide presence and coverage for next day delivery.
Hadco Metals has a new opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative to join our Claremore, OK sales team. Sales experience in the metals industry including aluminum, stainless steel, related alloys, and/or engineering grade plastic product lines is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Professionally answer inbound calls to generate sales.
- Develop new prospects using information from inquiries, outbound calls, aged leads, internet sites, and other sources.
- Interact with existing customers to identify leads and increase the sales of products and services.
- Quote pricing and credit terms and prepare sales orders within our ERP system.
- Build and maintain customer relationships.
- Work with outside sales representatives to build and maintain account activity.
- Maintain current knowledge of the metals industry, including potential customers and competitors, as well as business trends through trade association events and industry publications.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Previous inside sales experience in the metal, aerospace, industrial supply, or manufacturing industry.
- Ability to quickly build rapport with customers of all levels within an organization.
- Possess creative and complex thinking skills to best resolve customer's wants and needs.
- Possess a high degree of business ethics.
- High level of self-motivation and awareness.
