Haddad Hyundai is seeking full-time experienced SERVICE ADVISOR at Hyundai of Pittsfield Mass. Our dealerships are centrally located in Berkshire County and boast excellent work environments. Our service advisors receive an excellent compensation package – weekly pay plus commission along with many other benefits! Potential annual earnings of $50,000 to $80,000 with incentives.
Job Duties:
- Initiating services by listening to the customer’s description of their vehicles issues/symptoms while clarifying descriptions
- Conducting inspections and taking test drives; checking vehicle maintenance records and examining service schedules; verifying service contract and warranty coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders, and maintaining customer rapport and records
- Calculating customer payments, including deductibles and obtaining necessary signatures and entering repair orders (RO’s) into service databases
- Updating job knowledge by participating in training and keeping abreast of manufacturers’ publications
- Enhancing the group’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- At least (1) years of experience in a service advisor role is ideal, preferably in a dealership setting with previous customer service experience
- Valid, insurable driver’s license
- Experience or certification with specific manufacturer is a bonus
- Professional appearance and demeanor with a positive attitude
- Tekion Experience Helpful

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of two years customer service experience normally obtained as Service Client Care Coordinator or similar position
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
