Responsibilities

- Train, supervise, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards in food production.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining appropriate levels of products.
- Implement budgeting strategies to optimize departmental performance while minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all aspects of grocery operations.
- Utilize POS systems effectively for sales transactions and inventory tracking; experience with RDS POS is a plus.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their shopping experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in grocery management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food production processes and kitchen management practices.
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management within a retail environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead by example.
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with RDS is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory and staff schedules.
