Certified Homemaker-Home Health Aide (CHHA)

What We Need from You :

  • Certified Rockstar : Must have completed a NJ state-certified CHHA course with an active certification.
  • English Skills : You can read, write, and chat with ease.
  • Reliable Transportation : Your clients count on you, so dependable wheels are a must! ????
  • Preferred Experience : 1 year in a healthcare setting is the cherry on top.

    • Your Role :

    As a CHHA, you’ll be an essential part of our clients' daily lives. Your tasks will be guided by the care plan (POC) created by our nurses. Responsibilities include :

  • Assisting with personal care and daily activities.
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with mobility.
  • Helping with treatments under nurse supervision.
  • Encouraging independence and mental alertness.
  • Providing emotional and psychological support.
  • Reporting changes in the client's status to the nurse.

    • What You Bring :

  • Communication Skills : Must be able to hear and effectively communicate in English.
  • Physical Ability : Ability to stoop, bend, lift, turn, and transfer clients up to 200 pounds.
  • Travel Ready : Must be able to travel to clients’ homes.
  • Attention to Detail : Ability to document visits and follow the care plan meticulously.
