Job Details
- Expert MSSQL and PostgreSQL skills (query optimization, DB performance tuning, stored procedures, etc.).
- Strong AWS knowledge (services, architecture, and deployment).
- Experience with GitHub and version control best practices.
- DevOps experience, including:
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (e.g. CloudFormation).
- CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline).
- Familiarity with Capital One Enterprise applications (Strong preference for any ex-Capital One folks matching the role description).
- Debugging and troubleshooting skills for production environments.
- Some Java knowledge to understand our predominately Java backend environment
- Willingness to do 1 week 24/7 on-call roughly once a month
