Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our 27 apartment assisted living facility. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are clean, fresh, and properly stored.
- Sanitate surfaces to promote a healthy environment for residents or guests.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning.
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures to maintain a polished appearance.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries or requests with professionalism.
- Follow established housekeeping procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Skills
- Experience in housekeeping is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with residents or guests.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning supplies.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with residential cleaning practices is a plus.
