The current opportunity would work out of our Greenfield, OH location.
The Opportunity:
This position is for a B Crew Weekend Production Associate depending on experience. The hours for B Crew Weekends are Fri-Sun 5am - 5pm. This is an hourly position that does not involve direct management of people. In this role, you will report to the Production Lead.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Safety, Quality, and EMS
- Follow standardized work instructions.
- Fully participate in and support the Corvac Quality System
- Observe general and specific safety rules. This includes observing light curtains and other safety devices while the machine is in operation.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the work area and contribute to the overall orderliness of the plant.
- Process equipment to produce quality products, notify appropriate personnel if outside of parameters.
- Fill out all required paperwork including but not limited to production, scrap, and downtime.
- Rework and repair defective parts as needed.
- Responsible for the quality of product produced and identifying any non-compliant component parts.
- Responsible for assuring proper labeling is applied to finished goods containers.
- Accountable for packed finished goods
- Able to train others as needed.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
BACKGROUND REQUIRED:
- Experience in fast paced manufacturing environment preferred.
- Exposure to Lean manufacturing principles preferred.
- High school diploma / GED preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist for up to 12 hours and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Must have excellent reading, writing, communication, and math skills.
- Ability to work OT as needed.
- Must be able to use and read various measuring devices.
- Operate HMI (Human Machine Interface) Screen
- Ability to understand multiple types of assembly machine functions.
- Problem solving knowledge and ability.
