What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Supervisor position at HADLEY PRODUCTS LLC?
Reporting to: Plant Manager
Pay Structure: Salary
Purpose of the position:
Lead 3rd shift hourly production employees to ensure they are sustaining positive safety, quality, productivity and cost in assigned areas to meet our customer expectations on time.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain hourly/daily schedule attainment & assist with any equipment issues
- Work closely with the other Production Leads to achieve daily schedules, quality, safety requirements
- Routinely audit standard work adherence
- Provide training & onboarding to new employees
- Administer levels of discipline
Continuous Improvement/Lean Principles:
- Ability to identify and eliminate areas of waste
- Lead team in lean initiatives such as continuous improvement events and problem-solving activities
Quality:
- Support quality system by assuring the team achieves quality standards
Safety:
- Consistently adhere to, and support, company policies and procedures.
Leadership Expectations:

Background Required:
- Operating knowledge of the equipment and related processes
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft office products
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and twist for up to 10 hours
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience
- Manufacturing Experience preferred
- High School Diploma Required, Associates/Bachelor’s degree preferred

Schedule:
- 10 hour shift ((as needed)
- 8 hour shift (Currently running 8 hours)
- Monday to Friday (Sunday night to Friday morning)
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Automotive manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)
- Supervising: 3 years (Required)
