We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper & Human Resourses Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes, as well as supporting day-to-day administrative & office operations.
Job Summary:
The Bookkeeper & Human Resources Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, supporting financial reporting, and handling a range of administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both bookkeeping and administrative roles within a retail environment, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping & Financial Tasks
- Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely and accurate manner
- Record day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring all are entered into QuickBooks
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and reports for management
- Coordinate with external accountants for audits and tax preparation
Administrative Tasks
- Maintain organized filing systems for financial and administrative records
- Assist with HR-related tasks, such as onboarding paperwork, timekeeping, and payroll coordination
- Answer and direct phone calls, greet visitors and handle general office inquiries
- Support management in various projects and assist other departments as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience: Bookkeeping experience in a retail setting
- QuickBooks: Proficiency in QuickBooks is required, with a strong understanding of its features and functionalities
- Knowledge: Familiarity with general accounting principles and best practices within a retail environment
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
