MECHANICAL FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN
ESTABLISHED COMPANY LOCATED IN READING PA. IS LOOKING TO ADD A QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN FOR SERVICING CARWASH EQUIPMENT
Job Requirements
Hafer Equipment is a service oriented petroleum and carwash company staffed by a group of experienced tank installers/removers, petroleum and carwash service technicians, truck mechanics, professional salesman and other dedicated office professionals. Hafer has been performing high quality work in central and eastern Pennsylvania since 1964. We have a wide of variety in clientele including major industrial manufacturers, commercial businesses, fueling and automotive service stations, convenience stores, school districts and municipalities. We sell, install and service petroleum and carwash equipment. We are distributors for a number of major equipment manufacturers. Our success in the petroleum and carwash industries is directly related to our staff's ability to perform quality work quickly and accurately.
Hafer is a member of the Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI), Pennsylvania Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Store Association (PPMSCA), Tank Installers of Pennsylvania (TIPS) and PA and Berks County Chambers of Commerce.
Hafer Equipment sells, installs and services Petroleum and Carwash Equipment. We are distributors for a number of major equipment manufacturers including: Gilbarco Veeder-Root, Gasboy International, Highland Tank Company, Containment Solutions, Trans Tech and Mark VII Carwash Equipment.

Job Requirements
- PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG TESTING REQUIRED
- EXCELLENT TROUBLESHOOTING AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS
- ABILITY TO WORK ALL LEVELS OF ELECTRICAL VOLTAGE
- STRONG ABILITY TO TROUBLESHOOT AND REPAIR ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL PROBLEMS
- BASIC PLUMBING SKILL A PLUS
- KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF INDUSTRIAL CONTROL SYSTEMS (PLC’S, DRIVES, 3 PHASE WIRING, LOW VOLTAGE CONTROLS AND SENSORS, ETC)
- STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- ABILITY TO BE ORGANIZED, DETAIL ORIENTED AND MULTI-TASK
- SOME TRAVEL IS REQUIRED AS NEEDED
- INDIVIDUAL MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER
- MUST HAVE A VALID PA DRIVERS LICENSE
- MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN HAND TOOLS
