The ideal individual we are seeking will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Accredited (NAAB) Bachelor and/or Master of Architecture degree
- 5 years of prior experience working in an architectural firm
- Strong knowledge and skill in conceptualization, schematic design, and design development with experience preparing construction documents (drawings and specifications)
- Able and willing to lead a project from start to finish
- Able to work as part of a team without direct daily supervision
- Strong communication, presentation, communication, and organizational skills
- Enjoys design research, excels at problem solving, and seeks to improve their skills
- Is self-motivated and has the ability to work on multiple design projects at one time
- Possesses a positive attitude
- Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED/WELL AP (desired, but not required)
- Proficient knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Interested in business development efforts within the western KY region
- Able to travel out of town from time to time
- Architectural license in Kentucky – or with the ability to obtain a license
- NCARB certified (preferred but not required)
