Commercial Truck Driver
Class A & B CDL Driver
We are a busy family-owned excavation and paving company. We are hiring a Commercial Truck Driver to join the Hagar team. As a Driver, you must be reliable, responsible, committed to working safely and be motivated and have a positive attitude.
Our CDL drivers work in a fast-paced environment. Our trucks are professionally maintained in our own shop, and all are equipped with an excellent two-way radio network and sophisticated GPS that cover the entire area where our projects are located.
CDL duties will include but not be limited to the following:
- Operate single axle, wheelers, triaxles, or CLASS A commercial trucks.
- Perform general equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance and safety checks.
- Fuel Equipment.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Operators are responsible for checking each piece of equipment or truck they operate. Checking includes fluids, wear and tear, lighting etc.
- All operators will keep proper records of all material they move, sell, or distribute.
- All preventative maintenance may be done on all trucks by the operator of that truck. This shall be done regularly and recorded.
- Trucks and or equipment will be kept clean by that operator; Inside and out.
- All maintenance or safety issues with equipment
Minimum Qualifications:
- A valid Maine Class A or Class B License
- Ability to pass a drug screening and pre-employment DOT physical exam.
