What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial cooking equipment repair/Service Technician position at Hagar Restaurant Service?
Commercial Refrigeration/Cooking Equipment Technician is a full time position. Work week schedule is M-F 8-5, and work hours, may include some weekend and off hours work as well as overtime. Scheduling will vary according to customer need.
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Identify and troubleshoot commercial type cooking and refrigeration equipment including, the adjustment, repair and/or replacement of compressors, fans, heat exchangers, VFD exhaust fans, natural gas components, sheet metal/flex duct work, filter changes, EMS controls, safety devices etc.
- Maintain and repair equipment including coolers, freezers, ice machines and other restaurant equipment.
- Perform general commercial maintenance with associated scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
- The individual must have good analytical skills and attention to details with the ability to be self motivated and dependable.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience Required.
- Wages commiserate with experience.
