Job Description: Parts Puller
Position Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Parts Puller to join our team. The Parts Puller will be responsible for retrieving parts from our warehouse, ensuring they are accurately picked and ready for shipping or assembly. The ideal candidate will be skilled at locating, identifying, and handling various parts and components, while maintaining organization and accuracy. This role requires someone who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adhere to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Retrieve parts from storage locations, shelves, or bins as per the order or work instructions.
- Verify and check parts for accuracy, ensuring they match the order or specifications.
- Handle parts carefully to prevent damage and ensure parts are stored properly after picking.
- Organize and maintain parts inventory, ensuring parts are in their correct locations.
- Ensure that parts are correctly labeled and logged into the system to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Assist in loading and unloading parts from delivery vehicles.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the parts storage area.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and resolve any discrepancies.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts, if required.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while handling parts and materials.
- Assist with inventory counts and other related tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or similar roles is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order forms, part numbers, and product specifications.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems.
- Forklift certification may be required depending on company needs.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting: Must be able to lift, carry, and move parts weighing up to 50 pounds regularly. Occasionally may need to lift heavier items with assistance or equipment.
- Standing/Walking: Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during the shift.
- Bending/Twisting: Frequent bending, twisting, and reaching to retrieve parts from shelves or storage areas.
- Climbing: May need to climb ladders or use step stools to access high shelves.
- Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle and manipulate small and large parts with precision and care.
- Vision: Good vision required to read labels, identify parts, and ensure accuracy.
- Pushing/Pulling: Must be able to push and pull carts, pallets, or other equipment as needed.
- Environment: Ability to work in a warehouse or industrial setting with varying temperatures, noise levels, and physical demands.
This position may require working in a fast-paced environment and occasionally lifting, sorting, and moving heavy or bulky parts. The successful candidate should be physically capable of performing these tasks safely and efficiently.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
