The Manufacturing Apprentice will have the opportunity to learn the following:
- Set-up and operate a variety of machinery, including;
- CNC Turret punch press
- CNC Press brake
- CNC Machining
- Drill press
- Hardware Insertion
- Tapping
- Grinding
- Deburring
- Welding
- Spot welding
- Read production documents and follow written instructions;
- Quality inspection using precision measuring equipment;
- Light assembly using riveters, screw drivers, and other hand-held tools;
- Blue print reading;
- Visual inspection, wrapping, and packing of parts;
- Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean working environment;
- Periodic maintenance of equipment and machinery.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Clean background check
- Clean drug screen
- Valid driver’s license
- Provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation
- Steel toe work shoes
- Strong math skills
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work flexible hours to support overtime requirements
- Able to work and produce effectively with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization
- Ability to work as a team member
- Most importantly, must be motivated, ambitious, have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and be eager to learn
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
