About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analysis Specialist to join the firm’s securities fraud litigation team . This role involves analyzing brokerage statements, calculating investor damages for court submissions and assisting lawyers in evaluating potential cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance or accounting and excel at working with complex financial data.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract and analyze trade data from brokerage statements
• Input trade information into spreadsheets for further analysis
• Verify trade data accuracy by comparing with historical stock prices
• Calculate investor losses using various methods net losses LIFO FIFO
• Assist lawyers in evaluating potential cases involving financial analysis and accounting issues
• Prepare clear and concise reports on financial findings
• Collaborate with legal teams to provide financial expertise on cases
• Availability during off hours due to the nature of late hour legal filings
