Construction Laborer
We are a heating & cooling company and are always hiring dedicated construction laborers to join our team. The job of a construction laborer involves assisting HVAC technicians to install residential HVAC systems and equipment. Ultimately, a top-notch construction Laborer should be physically fit, good with their hands, and able to effectively follow instructions.
Construction Laborer Responsibilities:
Following direction & assisting with the installation of ductwork, ventilation, required mechanicals & HVAC equipment on new residential properties.
Following instructions for picking up and delivering parts, tools, materials, and supplies to and from the job site.
Ensuring all tools, materials, and equipment are in good working order.
Ensuring all HVAC systems remain compliant with industry standards and regulations.
Operate hand and power tools as directed.
Perform basic construction tasks, such as measuring, cutting, and installing materials.
Load or unload construction materials.
Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
Perform site clean-up.
Construction Laborer Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
Ability to work in all weather.
Workers must be punctual and reliable.
Ability to follow instructions.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
Capable of obtaining basic HVAC/construction hand tools
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
