What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Worker - Academic Testing Center position at HAGERSTOWN COMMUNITY COLLEGE?
Duties:
Student workers in the Academic Testing Center are responsible for greeting all testers and assisting them with the computer sign-in and locker usage, as well as explaining various testing processes and the related procedures. Other duties include answering phones, cleaning labs/lobby, restocking supplies, and performing administrative tasks as needed.
Special Skills Needed:
Academic Testing Center student workers must be able to maintain a calm and pleasant demeanor during both high-pressure and slower periods. This customer-service position also requires a strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task/prioritize duties. Basic troubleshooting skills (computer hardware/software) preferred.
Additional information:
The Academic Testing Center is open when the College is open and closed when the College is closed. This means the Testing Center may be operational even though classes are not in session.
Currently looking for availability Tuesday (3 PM - 8 PM), Wednesday (11 AM - 4 PM), Fridays and Saturdays.
Current hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 8 AM – 8 PM, Friday 8 AM – 4:30 PM, Saturday 8 AM – 1:30 PM.
