Student Worker - Youth Programs

1. Organizes, manages inventory, and delivers supplies to classrooms across campus.
2. Assists with setting up and tearing down classrooms, including ensuring the space complies with health and safety regulations.
3. Monitors students during lunch and organizes and leads activities during recess.
4. Provides assistance in the classroom as needed and supervises campers during instructors’ regularly scheduled breaks.
5. Escorts campers around campus for bathroom breaks, brain breaks, visits to the camp nurse, and other situations during which campers are outside of their classrooms.
6. Ensures medications are delivered to the correct camper’s classroom every morning and returned to a secure location every afternoon.
7. Assists in general cleaning and sanitization of classrooms and shared equipment.
8. Provides basic office assistance, such as photocopying, word processing, running errands, and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Special skills needed
• Must be available to work during the weeks of camp: June 16 - August 8, 2025.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs and quickly and efficiently deliver materials around campus with a wagon or hand cart.
• Proven success as a flexible, positive team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task, project-oriented environment.
• Ability to take initiative with project and support assignments.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain excellent professional and effective working relationships with staff, students, parents, and customers.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to listen actively and demonstrate understanding of written instructions.
• Ability to shift quickly between several tasks without loss of continuity.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability and desire to assist instructors and supervisors to achieve success.
• Driver’s license required.
• Background check required.

Additional information
18 years of age and high school diploma or equivalent required.  Experience working with youth in grades 2-12 strongly preferred.
