Assistant Bakery Managers assist with the leadership and motivation of a team of bakers, cake decorators and bakery sales clerks in order to create a destination experience for our guests.You will actively fry, mix, proof, bake and merchandise in-store scratch bakery products while you assist guests with product selection and sales. Additionally, you assist with tracking sales, managing the department’s budget, selecting and ordering product, building displays, ordering supplies and managing inventories. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with all food safety and sanitation requirements and you actively participate with cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas, tools and equipment.
