What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Representative position at Hahn Group?
The day-to-day activities include but not limited to, informing potential and existing customers of product features and benefits, address any questions, as well as creating and presenting persuasive sales proposals to customers to encourage sales and repeat business. Other daily activities, include receiving product, stocking the store and maintaining a clean and friendly environment.
- Build and sustain long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers.
- Continually meet or exceed sales targets by selling company products to new and existing customers.
- Develop and implement an effective sales strategy to drive sales.
- Maintain an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales.
- Collaborate with Management to expand brand presence through the creation of marketing tactics.
- Research competitor’s products and pricing as well as market conditions.
- Strategically negotiate with potential and existing customers to close sales.
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
- Clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related field preferred
- Proven retail sales experience
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
- Strong consultative sales skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented mentality
- Ability to lift 50lb
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This role works in an office environment with some time spent in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee may be required to lift up to 20 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance. While in a warehouse setting, the employee may be exposed to the outdoor weather temperature and loud noise. This role may require some weekend or late-night work as the employee is the sole manager responsible for the location’s operation and emergency response.
