What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Associate position at Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP?
Hahn Loeser has an opportunity for a commercial litigation associate with 3 to 6 years of experience for the Cleveland office. Candidates should have defense-side complex commercial litigation experience, preferably with a mid-to-large size law firm. Class action and/or multi-district litigation experience is preferred. We are looking for an attorney who wants to expand his or her expertise in commercial litigation and who seeks to work on a wide range of litigation matters in a sophisticated practice for clients throughout the United States.
Experience and Qualifications
- Ohio Bar admission, in good standing, is required (or the ability to waive in)
- Excellent research, analytical, and legal writing skills
- Experience handling all aspects of class actions or multi-district litigation, including drafting legal memoranda, motions, pleadings, and assisting in all stages of discovery, and class certification
- Mediation, arbitration and/or trial experience a plus
- Federal court or appellate experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities and assume a high degree of responsibility
