What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Associate position at Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP?
Hahn Loeser has an immediate need for a commercial litigation attorney in our Naples office with 3-5 years of experience. This position will offer someone who is intellectually curious and hard-working an excellent platform for professional development while providing exposure to multiple industries and specialties under our litigation practice.
Candidates must be admitted to the Florida Bar and be admitted, or be eligible for admission, to the Florida Federal Courts.
Experience and Qualifications
• Strong working knowledge of the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence
• Must have experience with commercial litigation or other sophisticated litigation experience working on cases from inception to trial
• Experience in conducting discovery, researching and writing complex motions and briefs, arguing substantive motions in court, and taking and defending depositions
• Experience with Trusts and Estates litigation is a plus, but not required
This position requires excellent writing, analytical, and research skills, and a proactive approach to cases regarding strategy and deadlines, strong organizational and prioritization skills, and the ability to work independently and exercise exceptional professional judgment.
