About the Role: Hahn Ready Mix Company is seeking an experienced and skilled Concrete Transport Specialist to join our team in Muscatine. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 6 days per week, with varying schedules including up to 10-hour days and potential overtime.
Job Summary: As a Concrete Transport Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering ready-mix concrete to customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. You will also perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, load and unload perishable products, and maintain a clean work environment.
- Operate the ready-mix truck safely and efficiently, adhering to federal, state, and company regulations.
- Efficiently load and deliver ready-mix concrete, ensuring quality and excellent customer service.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, checking vital systems and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Assist with plant maintenance, cleaning, and other duties assigned by the supervisor.
- Operate the truck to receive loads, evaluate slump, and drive to job sites, maneuvering the vehicle safely on site.
- Complete all required paperwork and forms in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment inside and outside the truck.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, maintenance, and plant management to facilitate information flow.
