Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell specials to enhance the dining experience
- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly and accurately
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in during the meal and addressing any concerns or requests
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guests
- Sanitize tables, chairs, and other dining areas to maintain cleanliness standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Handle cash transactions and process payments using Aloha POS system
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
