Environmental Health Safety Specialist

Haider Engineering P.C., a rapidly expanding REI firm, needs Environmental Health & Safety Rep in Westchester County, NY for a NYCDEP project.

Duties and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant construction experience, five years of which were exclusively in construction EHS management.
• Successful completion of the following courses:
• BEDC EHS Standards
• OSHA 30h
• HAZWOPER 40h (in case project requires hazardous waste remediation response)
• Resource Conservation Recovery Act/DOT hazardous waste/manifesting training
• BEDC spill prevention and control
• Control of hazardous energy sources (lockout/tagout)
• Previously approved by NYCDEP (preferred)
