We here at Haidlen Ford are looking for experienced parts person / driver . We pay competitive wages. Under new management we have increased parts sales and need the right person to help us achieve even bigger goals. We offer Monday thru Friday work week. We are a full service auto dealership including an onsite full service collision repair shop and towing. We have been family owned and operated since 1955. We sell new Ford vehicles and all makes of used vehicles.
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or the equivalent.
2 years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Licenses
California Driver's License with clean driving record.
Other
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.

Job-Specific Expectations
Take and fill orders promptly and efficiently. Aid service technicians and customers in ascertaining parts and accessories supplies for each job.Work with the service technicians and customers to make sure their parts and accessories requirements are being fulfilled. Provide high level of service to internal and external customers.
Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts that need immediate attention.Provide information regarding the cost of parts on repair orders.
Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
Know and understand purchase options for maximizing purchase cost and discount. Maximize selling incentives by know and understanding Ford Wins Program, and how to correct an improper initial account set up, prior to billing parts on counter tag's or shop ro's.
Keep inventory control system and parts catalogue up to date. When cataloging, be aware of basic information, including Vin numbers, Id numbers, catalog options to include when required, the use of parts assistance center for verification of correct parts.
Inform service and body shop personnel of receipt of back ordered or special order parts.
Follow lawful directions from supervisors.
Pulls orders for delivery to body shop, make sure all parts are tagged with customer name and job number.
Gain and communicate knowledge of parts history, merchandise.
Aid parts and accessories manager with reaching profitability and sales plan for parts and accessories. Be able to observe and assist in management porcedures, enabling, in time of management absence, to carry on with minimum disruption.
Have capability to work with multiple customers at once while still sustaining individual customer satisfaction.
Issues credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verfied.
Help customers ascertain parts and accessories needs and investigate merchandise in catalogues. Draw attention to any new merchandise, specials, and sales. Suggest supplementary products to may supplement the customer’s initial purchase.
Carry out all telephone transactions politely and efficiently.
Deal with customer complaints in a sensible manner by showing empathy and a pleasant attitude to show our commitment to excellent customer service.
Receive payments from customers or obtain credit authorization. Pricing policies are to be adhered to maintain to percentages and to conform to type of sale percentages for various sales types, retail, wholesale internal, employee, and family discounts.
Take delivery of and process parts from distributors, verify merchandise with purchase invoice, and make the product ready for the showroom floor.
Make sure that the merchandise displays are clean, well dusted, stocked, and attractive to customers
Become proficient and familiar with computer systems necessary for parts and accessories management.
Periodically carry out physical inventory of merchandise.
