Job Overview:
Hailo Wind Systems USA Inc. is a leader in the wind energy industry. We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Optimization Lead to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing our manufacturing processes to improve product quality, reliability, and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in mechanical/quality/manufacturing and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
- Develop workflows, processes, and work instructions
- Review client specifications and work with teams for FPQ, APQP, MPP, PPAP, and third-party certifications
- Diagnose manufacturing, engineering, customer, and supplier issues that affect the warranty, first-time quality, and first-time acceptance
- Support the resolution of Dimensional Issues
- Coach and mentor the production staff to identify and react appropriately to non-conforming dimensional data
- Generate Supplier NCRs
- Review customer complaints and NCRs and lead the internal resolution of nonconforming parts for proper initial disposition and root cause follow-up
Requirements:
- Minimum three years of experience in mechanical/quality/manufacturing
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- ISO 9001:2015 experience desired
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control concepts, RCA and 8D reports
- Proficiency with MS Office Software
